Seems like we have been motoring, motoring, motoring - yes we have! From Camarinas to Muros to Baiona to Porto -YUK! The nearest we managed sailing was a bit of motor sailing into a south westerly yesterday. The winds are a coming though, and after a short spell here seeing the sights of Porto, the winds look favourable to take us south. Still quite a way to Gib yet! Our concentration has been absorbed by dodging lobster pots and windmills.
Thank you for all your comments, we love reading them and knowing that friends are following our blog. Keep them coming. X :-)
Hiya - that fresh fish in Porto looked amazing. Yummy. We are now aboard La Caballa and SO happy to be here - home from home. She is clean, shipshape and almost ready for sea and the weather is set fair. What more could we want? It is so hot out there at the moment that we're down below with the ac on. Never gonna get our knees brown like this. Happy sailing on your next leg. Love V & Wx
ReplyDeleteHiya you two. So glad you are enjoying being back on the water. We set out this morning to try and make it further south but all was against us and we headed back. Think J has come to terms with no adventure training! Staying put tomorrow and hope to try again on Tuesday with a overnighter to Lisbon. Luv D & J xxx
